Laser Weight Loss in Kansas City
Laser weight loss treatment is available at our office at 1815 Grand Blvd. It is offered as one part of a weight loss plan, alongside personalized nutrition and wellness coaching, and never as a substitute for healthy eating and regular activity.

What Is Laser Weight Loss Treatment?
Laser weight loss treatment is non-invasive: laser light is applied over the skin of the area being treated. Nothing is injected, the skin is not broken, and there is no surgery or anesthesia.
At KC Wellness and Physiotherapy, laser treatment is offered as one part of a weight loss plan, not as a treatment on its own. It is paired with Personalized Nutrition & Wellness Coaching with Dr. Kowin Casey, who has a background in nutrition, so your plan also covers the everyday choices about what you eat and drink and how you move.
Results vary from person to person, and laser treatment is not a substitute for nutrition and activity. It is also not appropriate for everyone, so your health history is reviewed before your first session.

How Laser Weight Loss Fits Your Plan
Start With Your History
Your plan begins with your health history, medications, eating and activity habits, and goals, so laser treatment is only used when it is a safe fit.
Nutrition and Coaching
Laser treatment is paired with Personalized Nutrition & Wellness Coaching, which focuses on everyday food and activity choices that support your goals.
Review and Adjust
Follow-up visits give you a chance to review what is working, adjust the plan as your life and goals change, and keep building habits that last.
Benefits
Non-Invasive
Nothing is injected and there are no incisions. The laser is applied over the skin of the area being treated.
Part of a Complete Plan
Laser treatment is offered alongside personalized nutrition and wellness coaching, so it supports the habits behind your goals rather than replacing them.
Honest Expectations
Results vary from person to person. We do not promise weight loss or any specific result, and we will be straightforward about what to expect.
Available Without a Prescription
You do not need a prescription to be seen at KC Wellness and Physiotherapy.
What to Expect
Before Your First Session
Share your health history, medications and goals. Tell us if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or another implanted device, or have a medical condition, so we can check whether laser treatment is appropriate for you.
During Your Session
You rest comfortably while the laser is applied over the treatment area. Tell us at any time if anything feels uncomfortable.
Between Sessions
Much of the work happens at home: eating well, staying active and drinking water, guided by your nutrition and wellness coaching.

About the practice
KC Wellness and Physiotherapy was founded by Dr. Kowin Casey, DC, a chiropractic physician who received a certification in physiotherapy with an emphasis in sports rehabilitation.
