A nurse calls you
At the time of your visit, a nurse will call you by phone, take your history and go through questions about the health issues you are experiencing.

Using any smartphone or a computer with a webcam, click the provider link you were given and enter your name.

Wait in the virtual waiting room
You will be placed in a virtual waiting room. When Dr. Casey is ready, he joins and you talk by voice and video.
Billing
Telemedicine visits are billed just like a regular office visit.
X-rays or lab work
If Dr. Casey needs x-rays or lab work, he will let you know the next steps.

What an In-Person Visit Offers
An in-person visit allows a full physical examination, including the hands-on testing that helps a chiropractic physician understand what is behind your pain. It is also the only way to receive hands-on treatment, such as chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, spinal decompression and other in-office therapies.
For a first visit or a new injury, coming to the office is usually the better starting point. For severe or sudden symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. New patients can download the intake forms and fill them out before arriving.
What a Telemedicine Visit Offers
A telemedicine visit lets you talk with Dr. Casey by voice and video without traveling to the office. It can be a practical way to go over your history and symptoms, check in on your progress, and ask questions about your care.
Video has limits. No hands-on treatment can happen remotely, and some parts of an examination need you to be in the room. If Dr. Casey needs to see you in person, or needs x-rays or lab work, he will explain what comes next.
How to Decide Which Visit Fits
Choose an in-person visit if:
- It is your first visit and you need a full examination
- You have a new injury or pain that has not yet been examined
- You want hands-on care such as adjustments, soft tissue work or decompression
- Dr. Casey has asked to see you in the office
A telemedicine visit may work if:
- You want to talk through your symptoms or follow up on your progress
- Getting to the office is hard right now because of your schedule, transportation, mobility or illness
- You have questions about whether in-person care makes sense for you
- You have a smartphone or a computer with a webcam and a private place to talk
Telemedicine is not for emergencies. For severe or sudden symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Is telemedicine appropriate for an emergency?
No. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, such as new weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or pain after a serious accident, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
